Guarding Children: Overcoming Worry with Trust

Receiving help from Hashem with spiritual endeavors is not a given. That is the greatest gift that Hashem could possibly give a person and it requires merits. Just because somebody decides that he is ready to learn Torah or do certain mitzvot, that does not mean that all of a sudden Hashem will open the doors for him and make it easier. The person has to have a true desire for it and ask Hashem for His help. It has to be part of his regular prayers and he has to make a strong effort to accomplish it. When Hashem sees the person wanting and trying, then He will send His help.
Hashem is ready to help all of us with all of our spiritual needs, but first we have to do our part, which is making the efforts and asking Him for His help.
