Miracles happen even today and it is our prayers and good deeds which cause Hashem to bring them about.
Every tefila accomplishes something. The greatest reward for a tefila is the tefila itself. Each prayer is an enormous mitzvah that will bear fruit for all eternity and, fortunate for us, Hashem lets us see some of the fruits in this world as well.
