Don’t Despair: Hope Beyond the Doctor’s Report
Diagnosis? Don't Despair
If a person has been diagnosed, Heaven forbid, with a severe illness, and the doctors don't sound promising, the person should not despair. He should strengthen himself and understand that Hashem could take care of his sickness in but an instant. There have been so many stories told of when doctors have been proven wrong, and they should give a person encouragement that he could also be helped.
The Gemara says, - Whoever elongates his prayers, Hashem will elongate his life." Tefila can do wonders. We must believe in its power and pray with that Emunah again and again, long, heartfelt Tefilot.
Tefila can produce wonders. We must strengthen ourselves and prayer with Emunah Shelemah that Hashem can always help us.
