Emunah: The Secret to a Peaceful Home

Emunah for Shalom Bayit
When people are unhappy with the way their lives are going or unhappy with their circumstances, their nature is to find others to put the blame on.
If a man was delayed at the office and got home late, and his wife had dinner waiting and now it's cold, she has an opportunity to say, "It was M'et Hashem. I'm not going to get angry at my husband. I'll smile and sit down to a pleasant dinner." Going forward, she can tell her husband how much she appreciates when he does come home early. And a husband could tell his wife how happy he is when she is ready when he comes home. But if it didn't work out the way they wanted, they don't blame, they say it's M'et Hashem. For living that type of lifestyle, a person will be rewarded greatly for recognizing Hashem's Hashgacha in everything that happens to him and for not getting agitated when things don't go his way. This will also lead to happier relationships with people, especially with our spouses!
